| Added to Registry 05/15/2013 Mileage: 123,000 miles '82 Collector Edition Corvette. Only 6,759 of these built! The silver/champaign paint, graphics, wheels, mirrored glass t-tops, wheels, and multi color interior are all specific to only this Corvette. This is also the only C3 Vette to have a rear glass that opens like a hatchback. This car is optioned with power seat, power mirrors and windows, and rear defroster. This car is an all original driver/survivor that has never been wrecked or had any damage. It has well worn paint with it's share of chips and scratches but it is original paint. The bumpers front and rear are discolored a bit. The moldings on the t-tops have been recently replaced and I have the others for the doors but they have not been replaced yet. The vacuum accumulators for the headlights have also been recently replaced. It has just over 123,300 miles. The 350 c.i. Cross Fire Injection engine runs great and 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission shifts nice and firm. I just drove this car on a 300 mile trip with no problems at all. The car drives super! It handles great in the corners and 4 wheel disc brakes bring it to a halt quick. It rides like a true sports car and has plenty of "character" as most older Vettes do. If you are into these cars you know what I mean with the bumps, rattles, and squeaks. This a decent car that has obviously been garage kept and cared for. It is not a 9 or even an 8 on a scale of 10. I feel good about calling it a strong 6. I would say come see it for yourself in person if you are close enough. It looks better in pictures than in person. Not trying to talk the car down, just being honest about it! This car would be a great candidate for restoration and would make a nice addition to a collection. For someone wanting a rare car that not everyone is gonna have at the car show or local cruise in this is a neat car. It gets plenty of attention. This car is gonna be one to have as far as classic Corvette's go. No collection will be complete without one of these rare C3's in it. Check out the value for yourself, you'll find they are already much higher than the others. Wanting to get into another open wheel hot rod so this has to go to fund the new toy. This car will drive from Waycross Ga to Anywhere USA with nothing more than a fill up at the gas pump right now! Thanks, Jason |
