1) Absolutely stunning 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible with its numbers matching 427-390 HP big block and 4 speed that has gone through a nut and bolt concours frame off restoration with no expense spared! This Corvette is a truly extraordinary example of a numbers matching big block convertible. First off the body and frame were seperated and the resto started from there. Every inch, every nut and bolt of this car was torn down and restored or replaced using original or mostly NOS parts. It sports the original numbers matching 427-390 horsepower big block, 460 ft/lbs torque and 10.25 :1 comp ratio, the original numbers matching M21 4 speed and the original numbers matching posi rear end! No power steering or AC on this car it was built for speed and sound. It is also a factory equipped side exhaust car (1 of 4355 this year) see pix of rear valance, it also has many additional factory options such as A01 soft ray tinted glass, A82 headrests, C07 auxiliary (painted body color) hardtop (not in pix but I have it), F41 suspension, G81 posi, L36 427, M21 close ratio 4 speed, N14 side mount exhaust, PT6 red stripe bias ply tires, TJ2 front louver trim, UA6 alarm system, U69 am-fm radio, and an original (reproduction) L88 hood dealer installed at time of delivery in 1969!!! (see pix). The car was stripped down to bare fiberglass when restored (I have complete photo documentation of the resto including before during and after shots). Everything is either new or restored/replaced including but not limited to complete paint finish in original trim tag documented colors of 976 LeMans Blue met, Complete new interior (everything) in 411 blue vinyl. The original trim tag is on car with original rivots. Motor and all components rebuilt, rebuilt 4 speed trans, new clutch and related items, rebuilt posi rear and all components, new brakes inc pads rotors calipers lines valves mastercylinder etc. New complete front end and all front and rear suspension, new tires, new chrome and emblems, new soft top and literally every nut and bolt is new or restored. The tank sticker was on the car when resto started but could not be saved when it was removed. Everything works as it should inc all fiber optics, seat belt warning light, wipers and wiper door and headlights up and down. The car runs, drives, shifts, stops, and handles like a new 1969 vehicle! 90,000 miles. June 8, 2008.
