| This is a 1969 chevy Corvette Coupe. The car was black when i purchased it. I wanted to change back the the original nasaw blue so i wet sanded it with 320 grit sand paper and primer it with ever coat polyester primer. The interior is in good shape and has new carpet kit. The odometer reads 90,720 miles. The motor that came with the car when i bought it wasn't the original and ran alright. The motor was out of a 1979 Camaro. But instead of leaving that motor in it i had a mean rebuilt 350 i had on an engine stan in my garage. The motor is a 4 bolt that was bored .060 over New Speed Pro Forged 11 to 1 pistons New Forged steel crank New Hyd. 280 Competition cam and lifters New pete jackson gear drive The motor has new cam bearings and was balanced. The heads are rebuilt Dart cast iron heads with angled plugs that have screw in studs and plates. They are 64cc chamber heads with 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves. New Weiand team G with an Edelbrock 750 carb Has the Hei distributer. The transmission is a Muncie M21 4 speed with Hurst shifter that was checked by a pro. trans is good with a new rear seal. The flywheel was cut and new piolet bearing and clutch. Frame is solid. Looks like it was sanded and painted. Had bad ball joints witch i replaced and all bushings replaced. sway bar bushings replaced too. The frame has all new shocks, new front springs, new brake lines throughout, and 4 rebuilt calipers. The rear is 3.55 ratio with a Positraction center. New trailing arm bushings New sway bar bushings. New rebuilt brake calipers and pads. New parking brake kit (needs to be installed). New shocks. New spring bushings. Things that have to be finished: Need parking brake handle kit have brake shoe kit with hardware kit that needs to be installed. Needs new tires but have new aftermarket 15x8 rally wheels needs front and rear end aliment. Needs soft seal kit for the car has problems with front lights going up and down. All the lights work fine other than the headlights going up and down. Colors from the trim plate. January 28, 2008. |
