| We bought this car a project to repair, but things have changed. It is equipped with a 350HP/350cid engine. The engine has the numbers VO709CTH & 70S417138 stamped on the pad. The numbers match the VIN so I believe it to be the origional engine. I also have the Corvette build order sheet for the car to show that is was origionally a Monza Red with Black interior car. It also has a 4spd manual trans & power steering & power brakes. I do have what I believe to be the origional carb. The car has a aftermarket L-88 hood. I also have the origional hood with the factory paint still on it. I have some of the parts for the trap door for the wipers but not all of it. The interior is in very nice condition. It just needs a good cleaning. The console, carpet & seats are in very nice condition. Tires are in like new condition. Now for the bad. The car has been rolled over lightly. We bought the car in this condition. When we picked up the car we promptly removed all the spark plugs & cranked over the engine to make sure there was not any oil on top of pistons before we even tryed to start it. The engine started fine & runs good with no funny noises & has great oil pressure. It will need a left rear trailing arm as it is bent. I do not believe that the frame is bent in any way. The body is in pretty bad shape. This would be great for someone that had a car that the frame is rusty & needed a great running gear. There are lots & lots of great parts here. Not something that you are going to be able to jump in & drive across the country. 89,416 miles. We do have title for the car. November 29, 2009. |
