Car history:
Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this low mileage and completely
numbers matching 1980 Corvette in spectacular condition. This car looks and
drives awesome, needs nothing, and is ready to be driven and enjoyed. This car
has a very rare and neat original color combination of White over Oyster Leather.
The low mileage is supported by not only the condition of the car, but also the
clear Ohio title, pictured below, showing the mileage as "actual." This Corvette is
an exceptional driver and I wouldn't hesitate to hop in and take a road trip.
Please peruse all of the photos and numbers below to get a true sense of how
clean and correct this Corvette really is.

The previous owner was meticulous about the care of his vehicles and it shows in
the condition of this car. He kept very detailed records showing he had over
$17,000 into the car at the time of sale. He purchased this Corvette at the Kruise
Auburn car show in 2008 for just under $13,900. There are numerous service
records and receipts that accompany the car as well as other original documents,
pictured below, from when the car was purchased new. Mr. Paul Courtney of
Fairfield, OH (just outside of Cincinnati, OH) purchased this car brand new from
Chris Volz Motors in Milan, IN on June 14, 1980. In fact, the original key ring from
that dealership is still with the car.

The 1980 Corvette was lighter than the previous year and featured new bumper
caps, cleaner lines, and integrated spoilers. The body style was highly
modernized in 1980 by these changes. The vehicle also become much more
aerodynamic with these changes, with a drag coefficient .503 in 1979 to .443.
1980 was the last year for the much more desirable fully mechanical fuel and
ignition systems. 1981 went to the "computer command control" system, which is
much more prone to issues.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each
car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their
cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as
they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph
each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your
purchase. If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.

Exterior:
The white exterior is in beautiful driver condition. As one can see in the photos
the finish has dazzling gloss and smooth finish. Often many Corvettes will have
particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not. The underside of the front
end, a very fragile part of the car, is in great condition as evidenced by the
photos. This Corvette came equipped with aluminum wheels, which are in
excellent condition with a brilliant finish and absolutely no curb rash. The tires
look almost brand new. There are no major imperfections that have been
excluded from the photos. There are some small blemishes and touch ups that
were much too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable
from ten feet away. The frame shows no rust and is totally solid as is everything
else on the car.

The car looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Please note that all of the glass on this Corvette is date coded and original to the
car as each piece predates the build date of May 30, 1980. Original glass is a
good indication that the car has not been in a major accident and never sustained
significant damage.

Interior:
The Oyster interior of the Corvette looks utterly brilliant. It is in near concourse
quality condition. The seats look almost brand new with no rips, tears, or split
seams. They are not worn in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in
and out. The carpet is in like new condition as well with no stains, rips, or holes.
This includes the rear carpet with is often neglected. The console is in great
condition and fits correctly. The door panels are in great shape and unlike many
Corvettes of this age, they fit well and tight to the door. The dash is not cracked
or sun faded at all. This car has not been smoked in; there are no burn marks or
aroma whatsoever. Please note that detail items, such as the pulls for the rear
compartment doors, have not been pulled off on this car. The original pedal pads
are not excessively worn, and as one can see from the pictures, show normal
wear for a car with this mileage. Corvette interiors are not known to wear well,
especially cars with a very light colored interior such as this Corvette, and the
excellent condition of this interior is a testament to the meticulous care this car
has received throughout it's life.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical:
This car is in awesome mechanical condition, it has no issues and is an exceptional
driver. Even the a/c, cruise control, and power antenna all work; some of the
most common issues on this vintage Corvette. The car drives terrifically. It is
tight on the road and at highway speeds. There are no strange noises or
vibrations. The transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes are responsive and do
not pull to one side or the other. The car starts right away every time and runs
well; it is a bit cold blooded like most older carbureted cars. This Corvette has
plenty of power, it is very fast, and the catalytic converter has been removed so
the exhaust has a very healthy tone. The horn works as do the headlights,
headlight override vacuum switch, all gauges (with the obvious exception of the
clock), all interior and exterior lights, power windows, and wipers. Not enough can
be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with t-tops
out on a beautiful day.

Overall Condition:
Overall this Corvette is in magnificent condition. It is truly one of the nicest 1980
Corvettes we have encounter recently and we have it priced to sell. The previous
owner had an appraisal done on the car, pictured below, which showed a value of
$14,500 - $17,500. Numbers matching and originality are extremely important in
Corvette pricing, and as you can see this car very original and correct. In
addition, this car is also optioned with a very rare and desirable color
combination. The value of the late C3 body style cars has gone up dramatically in
the past few years. They are all solid investments for a collector. Cars like this
are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future. Someone could drive and enjoy this
vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price.
