A 1971 Corvette with a 454 engine and 4 speed transmission.. No factory air, this baby was built to go fast!.. It has removable roof panels and a pop out rear window.. Not pictured but included in the sale is the original factory luggage rack.. You can see by the pics that this car has front end damage but the car is basically straight and solid.. Both doors open and shut soundly.. This car comes with a clear title and the mileage is exempt because of the age of the car.. All of the glass is good and the windows roll up and down properly.. The original seats, dash, and door panels are in good condition [see pics]..The original owner's manual is included.. This car has the correct 8 inch Corvette Rally wheels with very good tires on the rear.. The fronts are not so good [see pics].. The factory tach works also!! This car has a non-matching engine that starts right up and runs great.. It has headers and working side pipes.. This car needs a complete restoration to be one of the most sought after Corvettes around.. It would be a great driver with just a little front end body work.. From Previous Owner: Owner: Alden Pyle City: Taunton State: Massachusetts Added to Registry 08/27/2010 Pictures 1-15 1971 Corvette Big Block 454, 4 speed, Mileage: 110,612 T-Tops, pop out back window, Astro Ventilation. Factory tinted windshield. Beautiful original steel Rally wheels and caps. Engine and drive train are undamaged except for the factory fan which kissed the radiator. Frame is hooked to the left about 3-4 inches between the firewall and front tires. Rear and cockpit fine, rear bumpers are very nice, beautiful original rally rims. It has a factory luggage rack in excellent condition and I have all but one of the mounts. There is no rust or rot on the frame or under body, the doors don't sag. The T Tops are tight and the rubber seals are in place and squishy with no cracks. The passenger seat is really nice no cracks, splits, holes or undue wear, the drivers seat has rub-wear on the bottom edge (getting in & out) but no cracks. Dash is great has no cracks or splits and the gauges are very nice, even the fiber optics and clock work. The wood panels on the doors and console trim plate need sanding and varnish and the drivers side arm rest has cracks, as you'd imagine in a car of this age. The plate calls for warbonnet yellow, it's black right now but will need to be redone. Who ever painted it just did a scuff and spray. Block # CG3318975 Trim # 403 Paint # 989 The VIN confirms it's a BB and calls for the 454, w/ quadrajet @ 365 HP - all are there. The plate calls for the black BB interior trim ie carpet on the door bottoms, leather interior, which it has. It's all stock, no add ons except for the headers and side pipes. (c'mon..it was the 70's). I have both undamaged egg crate grills, one undamaged front lower grill, one undamaged head lamp and housing group. Have all vacum tanks and actautors. Have the spare tire holder. I have the original Big Block hood, it has a 10 inch crack across the front left. |
