3) ENGINE SERIAL #79S702790 MATCHING THE CAR'S SERIAL #. THIS IS A RARE SURVIVOR THAT IS AS STOCK AS THE DAY IT WAS MADE. IT IS A 350CI, 300 HP, 4 SPEED WITH RECENT PAINT, ORIGINAL INTERIOR IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO CRACKS OR RIPS, CONVERTIBLE TOP IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND APPEARS TO BE THE ORIGINAL ONE. THE FRAME AND RAD CRADLE HAVE NO RUST AND ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. IT WAS NOT ON THE ROAD FOR 4 YEARS SO THE CARB COULD USE A REBUILD BUT IT STARTS ON HIGH IDLE THEN RUNS VERY GOOD WHEN WARM. THE CLUTCH IS GOOD AND THE TRANSMISSION AND ORIGINAL SHIFTER WORK VERY WELL. HEADLIGHTS ARE A LITTLE SLOW TO COME UP BUT THEY DO WORK AND THE WIPER COWL WORKS WELL. WHEN ON THE HOIST I NOTICED IT HAS HAD FRONT AND REAR BUSHINGS REPLACED RECENTLY BUT ONE REAR WHEEL BEARING HAS A LITTLE PLAY AND SHOULD BE REPLACED AND THEN THE REAR END ALIGNED. IT DOES DRIVE GREAT AND THE BRAKES AND FRONT END PERFORM AS EXPECTED. THE EXHAUST IS VERY GOOD AND LOOKS LIKE IT IS AN ORIGINAL REPLACEMENT. TIRES ARE VERY GOOD AS WELL. IT JUST NEEDS SOME MINOR MECHANICAL AND COSMETICS TO MAKE THIS CAR OUTSTANDING.
