Up for sale is a "one-of-a-kind" custom built and fully restored 1973 Corvette Stingray Coupe T-Top. I have owned this vehicle since August, 1983. I purchased the car from my father who purchased it from a friend back in the early 1980s'. The car has undergone a complete body off frame restoration. The entire frame was blasted and painted inside and out. All components on the car are either new, rebuilt or restored; nothing has been overlooked. All components and switches on the car function properly. This car is truly beautiful and is simply breathtaking. The most common words I hear from people who see the car are, "The paint just pops - it's an amazing color - it's very deep", and "The chrome just so well compliments the paint", "I just love the color - it looks so deep, like's it's wet", "The engine is just awesome - what a build". It is a very striking combination. I can honestly say this is one car that is a lot of fun to wash! :) The color is a unique PPG blend called competition blue, and it is definitely a head turner. And, as people point out, the car always looks wet - that's how deep the color is on this car and how well it is buffed and polished (120 hours of time in this alone) - you can vividly see reflections in the paint. I built this car for myself over the last 10 years. It's been years of painstaking work to finish it to the detail you see in the photos and videos. You will not be disappointed in this car. It's fast, fun and furious! You will not find another '73 like this one. The attention to detail is all over this car from the ground up. Underneath the car it is just as nice as what you see on top. This is an original air car - A/C, which also came with power steering, power windows, power brakes, tilt/telescopic steering wheel and Astro Ventilation. The mileage on the speedo is the original mileage (83,041). The car had approximately 24,000 miles when I purchased it from my father. All mileage since that time was put on the car by me. The drivetrain has been fully restored and rebuilt with approximately 1900 miles on the rebuild and full restoration of the vehicle. I kept the original speedometer with the original mileage for historical reasons and to allow the next buyer to know the exact mileage. I will miss this car, but it's time for a new owner. My oldest boy is off to college and it's time to sell. I know you will enjoy the car as much as I have. It's a unique piece of history that you will be very proud to own and show off!
