Throw in owner history with copies of past titles, restoration receipts. Then proceed to do a complete and correct frame off restoration. And what you end up with is one of the highest performance Corvettes ever built! These L89's were beasts! Most were ordered from St. Louis as bare boned go-fast conveyances. But, every once in a while, a buyer would check some additional RPO boxes beyond the norm. And that is the case with our featured car. The performance pieces are there, to be sure! L89 Aluminum Head 427, M-21 Close Ratio 4-spd, 4.11 Posi rear end. However, the unusual options are here too.
