| For Sale: 1981 Corvette with 25,700 original miles. This car is in excellent condition for a 31 year old car. It is obvious it has been well cared for and always garaged. It has never been driven in the rain since I have owned it and the previous owner maintained the same. No frame rust. Runs great. It has a 350 V8 with automatic, glass t-tops, tilt, cruise, air, factory AM/FM cassette stereo, red leather seats, power windows, power locks, factory Alloy wheels, new stainless steel brakes, new power steering slave cylinder, new motor mounts, new shocks, the trouble prone emergency brake cable has been replaced with a new one, all glass is etched with VIN number, tinted windows, and factory alarm. Comes with Cover and Front Bra. I prefer to sell this car to a car enthusiast that will appreciate it and take care of it. Serious parties only. NADA for Classic Cars indicates that the value for a 1981 Corvette equipped this way would range from average condition @ $17,055 and for a show car @ $28,670. I would place this car’s value at $23,000. Car has one 2 inch bonding seam hairline crack on drivers front fender. The air conditioning needs to be charged with freon but I will take care of that before you take delivery. Oil has been changed, brake lines were flushed and fluid was switched to silicone brake fluid. Front bearings were recently repacked. Coolant was recently flushed and refilled with new.
