| Car history: |
| Nevada Silver 1971 numbers matching 350 convertible. The car is in excellent condition and runs great. This combination of color, roadster, automatic and AC is very rare. It comes with a matching hardtop. There is nothing to fix on this car. All gauges, wiper door, headlights and fiberoptics work. The AC is cold and it starts right up every time. This car has been kept in a heated garage for the past 3 years. It was restored by Valvoline and given as a raffle prize about 5 years ago. All paperwork is included. It is a pleasure to drive and receives compliments at every stoplight. Numbers from various parts: Engine numbers on front pad were C11s117553 and V0508CJK (assembly date May 8th, 1971) Back of engine was 3970010 and E 6 1 (block cast date of May 6th, 1971). LH exhaust manifold 3846559 date D22 (April 22nd RH exhaust, did not look at part number, but date was E4 (May 4th) Distributor tag appeared to be 1112050 Fan blade had numbers of 3991427 and 914685 with date of E 71 (May 1971) Intake 39784669 with date of D 20 71 (April 20, 1971). About the condition of the car. Mechanically it is in perfect condition. It runs strong and everything works right down to the clock. Paint and cosmetics of the car are a 9 out of 10. It isn't quite show quality, but it is close enough that you could go to local shows all summer long and not see another vette in better condition. If it were any nicer I would feel guilty driving it. It is a beautiful car and is the rarest color made in '71. Motor suffix code is CJK. 93,000 miles. March 7, 2008. |
