| WE ARE VERY PROUD TO OFFER THIS VERY RARE C-3 CHEVY CORVETTE ORIGINAL #s Matching 454 CI. ORIGINAL Muncie M-21 Trans, ORIGINAL convertible top. Excellent Shape. ORIGINAL Black leather interior Excellent Shape. This car was bought from an estate and had been stored (with many other cars ) since the late 1970's. Last time this beauty was registered was 1978. This car was stored in a clean dry garage. Moisture and mice were never a problem. I am sure this is why this car held up so well !! We got the car home, gave it all new fluids and went thru precautionary steps getting it running. Started it and it ran perfect. No leaks, No smoke! We also did give it new plugs, wires, belts, starter, alternator and rebuilt carb. We did not need to rebuild this motor, and I am sure it truly only has 25K miles on it !!! The trans is original M-21, shifts perfect. The clutch is very strong. The 45 year old lacquer didn't look so good. We had the body done at a local restoration shop done in the original War Bonnet paint. This car was/is perfectly straight with no damage or spider cracks. The body is now show quality. The cost alone was $8800.00 for this !! The interior is all ORIGINAL BLACK LEATHER DELUXE. NO rips or cracks. In my opinion it's perfect for a 45 year old car. All gauges work fine. Has factory AM-FM Radio. The convertible top is also original and perfect except for the plastic back window has colored or tinted over time. The underside of the car is very solid. No RUST even the brake and fuel lines are original and in excellent shape. We did install all new brakes, calipers, rotors and pads. We also put on new B.F.G. 225/70/15 Tires. There is also new exhaust with factory look with new factory tips!! The stainless is all good-great !! The bumpers and most of the emblems are original. The rocker trim panels are new N.O.S. This is a GREAT and RARE car that can be driven ANYWHERE!! Sold for $28,400 on August 22, 2016. Sold for $29,100 on October 10, 2016. |
