Let Me start Off By Saying I Am A Retired Private Party Collector And Hobbyist Here In South Florida. I Am Not A Dealer Nor Do I Play Games Or Use Smoke And Mirrors To Represent A Car. Car Will Be Correctly Described Without Any Surprises. Car Is Either From My Personal Collection Or Belong To Friends Of Mine Who Ask Me To Market Their Cars For Them. Many People Ask Me To Market Their Cars But I Only Take On The Nicest And The Best. This Particular Car Comes To Me As A Referral From My Good Friend And Painter Who Does All Of my Paint And Body Work. I Wasn’t Sure Of How It Would Look When It Was Described To Me But After Seeing The Car I Immediately Said This Is Really Nice And I would Absolutely Market It For The Owner. This Particular Car Started Life As A No Hit Body In Classic White With A Black Vinyl Interior Combination, Quite Plain And Basic. The Owner Wanted Something Quite Different So While The Car Was Being Stripped And After Months Of Looking He Decided On Code #71 2005 Daytona Sunset Orange Base Coat Clear Coat. To Compliment The Color He Chose A New Light Saddle Interior And For A Little Contrast Medium Saddle Carpet. As Previously Said This Combo Is Great But On A C3 Convertible It Is Absolutely Gorgeous And Is Most Likely A One Of One Combination. You Really Have To See This Car To Appreciate It, The Color Combination Is Striking. After Choosing The Color The Body Continued To Be Stripped To bare Glass, All Gaps And Working Parts Were Properly Lined Up And Made To work Flawlessly. The Newly Chosen Interior Including New Seat Foam Was Then Installed, All Gauges Were Refurbished And A New Modern Stereo Finished Off The Interior. New Chrome Bumpers, Chrome 17” Wheels And Tires, A New Windshield, Custom Taillights, An Ecklers Turbo Hood And New Top With all Seals Completed The Outside Of The Car. The Owner Then Turned To The Mechanical Portion Of The Restoration, Being The Outside And Inside Looked So Good He Then decided To Have The Engine Removed. At That Point The Original 46,000 Mile Block Was Removed From The Car And Rebuilt. Being That He Had done Almost Everything else He Decided To Redo Most Of The Other Engine Bay Components, He Then Proceeded To Do All Of The Following : New Water Pump New Oil Pump New 305 Heads New Edelbrock Intake Manifold New 650 cfm Holly Carb. New 268 Comp Cam New Hedman Headers New Chambered Exhaust System New HEI Distributor New Torque Converter New Radiator All New Hoses And Lines New Shocks New Rear Spring New Ball Joints New Idler Arm New Power Steering Pump The Following Were Purchased New Or Existing Parts Highly Polished: Master Cylinder And Brake Booster Alternator A/C Compressor Distributor Cover Valve Covers Air Cleaner If Your Looking For A No Problem Already Finished One Of A Kind C3 Roadster Especially One You Can Get Right In And Drive Don’t Pass This One Up. As Said Before The Color Combination is Absolutely Gorgeous And With All The Work And New Parts That Have Been Added This Car Can’t Be Beat. You Can Have It Now At A Price That Will Certainly Increase By The Time You Are ready To Pass It On To The Next Lucky Owner, Which Will Not Be A Difficult Task If That’s What You Decide To Do.
