1968 Corvette Convertible #'s Matching project car! Let's start by saying this is a #'s matching 327 with 4 spd munice and factory posi rear. The car has had the body off the frame at some point in its life and had the frame gone over and painted. The body on the car will require some repairs but is decent to start with.
The motor starts right up and appears to have been rebuilt at some point. (We were told it is a fresh motor). The motor sounds good but does smoke alittle and the carb could use a rebuild. The trans shifts as it should and seems mechanically fine. The rear works as it should and also seems fine. We installed all new calipers and pads on all 4 corners. Also has new master cly. New emergecy brake cables and shoes. Car also has new dual exhaust kit that is the correct with correct mufflers and tips. Car has new gas tank and sending unit. Car sports corvette rally wheels. The car is mostly complete but is missing some parts. I do know the car is missing the grille and bumpers and some of the head light trim. Also missing tail lights and rear bumper, lower valance. The interior is missing the pass side dash assembley and some of the dash braces. Some of the console is there but some is missing (See pics). Colors from the owner. Built date is B15. March 30, 2009. |
