| 1971 Chevrolet Corvette. Removable hard top, I think it is a 350, the engine looks to be from a later model Chevy. It has a TH400 trans. It starts and moves under it own power. This is a project car. It will need finnishing. I am selling it for friend who got in over his head. The frame looks good and the body is not bad. It has been repainted. It is not perfect but respectable. It does however have a couple issues, a small crack in the hood and a small spot on drivers door looks like the front edge of door may have hit the hinge and took a small piece out of door edge. The interior is mostly in it but needs work. Glass looks ok. There are some parts in the back. Not sure what they are. I don't know the true milage!!!! Anyone buying this car should expect to do a lot of restoration to get it nice. It will need to be towed as it is not road ready.(I have driven it around the yard but not for any distance). There is no warranty!!! The front clip was changed at some time with a later style. The gauges are all there but dont seem to work. The soft top stuff is not there. The lights and grill pieces for the front parking lights are in the back behind seats but don't know about mounting hardware? Trim tag: Build date: A19, Trim 400, Paint 989. |
