2) Code correct Mulsanne Blue exterior, code correct Blue vinyl interior, White convertible top. Numbers matching 300hp 350ci engine (built to 360+hp), automatic transmission, posi rear-end. Originally assembled on July 31, 1970, this 1970 Corvette Convertible is LOADED with factory options including air conditioning and power steering and brakes, and is one of the very last Corvettes to roll off the assembly line before the EPA starting choking the engines with emissions equipment. This car is in OUTSTANDING condition inside, out, and underneath, with many new parts, and records dating back to 1995. This car's paint is in very good to excellent condition, with a deep shine. Side windows show a correct date code. Convertible top looks to be recent, and is in very good to excellent condition with no stains, rips, or tears, and a clear window. An LT1/Big Block style hood has been added to this car, and is dressed with the LT1 decal in white. Chrome bumpers look to be recent as well, and are also in very good to excellent condition. Exterior door handles are recent and in very good condition with no finish or rubbing issues. Weatherstripping looks to be recent and is soft, but nonetheless has several cracks, and is therefore only in good to very good condition. Luggage rack is a stainless steel replacement, and in very good condition with no dings or other issues. Taillights are in very good condition with no typical cracking. Rally wheels are in very good condition, with very good condition stainless trim rings and center caps. Tires are nearly new BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter, with an average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1970 Corvette Convertible shows very good condition recent seat covers with new foam, and a very good condition shift plate and center console with no typical cracks in the rear section. Gauges are in very good to excellent condition with no fading and clear lenses, as are the door panels, which are somewhat recent with no armrest cracks or other signs of wear. Clock is working with a quartz movement. Dash pad is in very good condition with no cracks as well. Steering wheel is original style, but currently wears a tasteful stitched-on cover on the rim. Carpet is somewhat recent, and in very good condition with no fading, stains, or worn spots. Storage bins are in very good condition as well with just one crack in the frames. An Alpine CDA-9849 CD stereo has been added to this car, as well as a custom interior-matching soundbar in the rear area, and a parking brake-mounted cupholder. GM seatbelts are in place, and in fair to good condition with a frozen driver's side buckle. The numbers matching engine in this 1970 Corvette Convertible shows casting date July 8, 1970, and final assembly date July 11, 1970. Ignition shielding is in place, as well as correct hoses and hose clamps. Additions to this engine include LT1 style finned aluminum valve covers, Hooker coated longtube headers (recent with a very good condition coating), Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, Holley carburetor, and red Taylor spark plug wires. Air conditioning has just been serviced, and blows cold. Original owner's manual, brochure, Corvette America 1970 Assembly Manual, and binder with records are included. Engine compartment is nicely detailed, as is the underside, which is solid and rust-free.
