THIS 1972 DARK SADDLE INTERIOR T-TOP NUMBERS MATCHING CORVETTE LOADED WITH AIR CONDITIONING, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, AUTOMATIC, TILT TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN AND REMOVABLE REAR WINDOW. THIS CORVETTE MAKES ANY DRIVE AWESOME AD SHE IS NUMBER 69 OFF OF THE LINE IN 1972. EXTERIOR: This is the 69th 1972 Corvette ever built, an early car if you pay attention to that kind of thing. The body is straight and the paint is fair. Everything lines up fine and the frame looks solid and straight. The headlights are functional but the wipers will need to be looked at. The front pillar weatherstrips are NEW as are the door mains and the t-top weatherstrips. The chrome doesn't look quite new but it is too good to redo if you know what I mean. Both the exhaust tips and the luggage rack hardware are NEW. She also retains her original rally wheels with trim rings and center caps that look great; the tires are NEW. She is a sharp car that captivates the senses. INTERIOR: The interior is in great condition. The seats, the door panels, and the carpet have all been recently replaced it looks to us. There are no rips, tears, or holes in the cockpit. The gauges still look very nice and still work save the clock. The original stereo is even in place and still works, but needs new speakers. The rear compartment doors are functional but no longer work like they did on day one. The windows also move up and down well and the car still possesses its original Astro-Ventilation door glass. This car has the best set up of options for comfort and functionality. MECHANICS: The car still possesses its original and correct, NUMBERS MATCHING 350 cubic inch motor with the factory automatic transmission. As you can see in the pictures the motor compartment looks beautiful and is clean for the age of the car. All of the A/C equipment is in place and the compressor clicked on. The bushings look fine and dont appear to be coming apart. The exhaust looks to have been replaced and the new and correct exhaust tips have been installed. She is zippy and the motor is responsive. All of the brakes have been redone with Stainless Steel Sleeved Calipers. The automobile runs, drives, and handles just like she should. January 12, 2008. |
