| Posted 03/25/2020 What Makes It Special? This Corvette is a Silver Anniversary Edition Corvette that is 100 percent stock, with no apparent modifications. The odometer states 19,178 miles, which is believed to be correct. Only 3,385 cars were equipped with the RPO Code M21 4-speed manual close-ratio transmission for 1978, and only 7,138 cars included the factory GM-Delco A/M-F/M-CB radio (RPO Code UP6). The car includes the original vinyl T-Top roof panel storage bags, some paperwork, and three iron-on Silver Anniversary patches. Body Condition: The body is in very good condition with no rust. Tires are all matching Goodyear Eagle GT OWLs. All 4 aluminum wheels are factory and matching. The interior is in excellent condition, and all power equipment (radio, door locks, and windows) work as they should. The CB band of the radio is untested, but AM/FM work. A/C could use a recharge, but controls work. This generation of Corvette sometimes has issues with the parking brake shoe, and this one has an issue. Mechanical Condition: The car starts and runs well, transmission shifts out fine. Has a valid PA inspection sticker through 9/2019. |
