| Car history: |
1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette Coupe with removable T-Tops, L-48, automatic with 105,100 actual miles. Matching numbers, code correct. Red paint with oyster interior. Very desirable color combination. Original mile car in good condition. Optioned with air, power steering, power windows, leather, tilt-n-telescopic, AM/FM stereo cassette, tinted T-tops, alloys, original leathers and owner’s manual. No known wrecks or body damage. Now, let me pick the car apart for you....it needs a paint job. The clear coat is peeling (was found in a barn under horse blankets). It needs new tires. It needs new weather stripping. The odometer and the tachometer doesn't seem to be working correctly. One small crack in the passenger T-top. And the head lights are sluggish to raise but both work (they seem to work better when used frequently). There are some old papers in the glove box from previous owners. In the last 3 years, I've rebuilt the carburetor. I had the AC converted so it wouldn't need freon but I have the screws if you want to change it back. I've also put out $800 worth of work this spring for brakes, rotors, tune up and some kind of bar thing. I bought this car from a preacher that lives up the road (no kidding). I had dreams of cruising and showing the car. My horse passed away in August and I've since then bought a new horse. The car is being sold to pay for the new horse. It's a good, honest car. One that you would be proud to own!
