| 1972 Corvette Convertible, 4 speed with power windows, power steering and air conditioning. I bought the car in 2006 as a retirement hobby to participate in Car Show drive ins and tours, but times have changed and i'm not going to retire as planned. The car has been repainted in its lifetime, new exhaust system, top and tires. The engine compartment looks as good as the interior, the only problem I can't open the hood at the moment. I pulled the hood release cable and the cable came loose from the attached latch. Not sure what this will take to correct, but I will look into the matter with a local Corvette shop. The Corvette runs out beautifully, the A/C must have developed a small leak in the system, I had it charged last year and it blowed cold air all summer. It has the orginal side windows marked "Astro Ventilation" and interior. This Corvette is not a trailer queen and desires to be driven, it draws a crowd and turns heads everywhere we go. The engine and drivetrain are orginal to the car. The car has been garaged and covered in a environmentally controlled building. February 8, 2010. |
