Car history:
2) Matching numbers barn find! This is true American muscle at an affordable price! No air, no power steering, no power windows, just a blast to drive! I purchased this survivor from the wife of the original owner, had it trailered to my shop in Columbus and got the car ready for the open road. New brakes all around, new red stripe tires and a total tune-up has the car purring like a kitten. Finished in white with a pristine black vinyl removable top, these first year Stingrays are the purest form of the original design. Car comes with the original soft top but if that is the look you want you'll have to spring for a new one as the original has too many wrinkles in it from being down all these years. A non stock radio and shift knob are the only non original items I can see. You could spend twice as much for a perfect car but you would be afraid to drive it; and miss out on the true fun of owning an American icon! Sold for $18,100 on June 3, 2017. Sold for $15,700 on June 14, 2017.
1) Clean 1968 Corvette Convertible, 92,400 miles, All Original, Matching Numbers. Nothing Missing Hard top/Soft top Convertible, 327/300hp small block V8, M21 4 Speed Manual Transmission. I'm selling this for a good friend that has had this Corvette for over 30 years: This Car runs and drives like new, Well kept classic car, used and driven frequently to Car Shows, Crusies, Car Hops, and the ocassional fair weather drive. This Corvette was purchased from the original owner years ago, it is all original (except for normal wear items, battery, brakes, tires, ect) right down to the windows (even the windshield). This Corvette has the black leather interior, two tops (vinyl hardtop pictured) and the original vinyl fold down soft top (may need to be replaced due to being stored in the folded position for so long). This Car is in great running order, (don't be afraid to buy it and drive it anywhere) it has an untouched unmolested small block 327ci V8 engine rated at 300 horsepower with a smooth shifting Muncie M21 4 speed manual transmission. Again this car is the real deal, a true unrestored, unmolested, all original, everything there, matching numbers automobile ready to be enjoyed as it is, or with a little tlc it could be a trophy winning show stopper. Sold at $15,934 on August 13, 2015, probably to a car dealer (high Ebay activity on cars).
