2) Real LT1 With Tons of Upgrades Just Toys Classic Cars is your Corvette headquarters. We are proud to present this 1972 Chevrolet Corvette LT1. This is the real deal. It is a numbers matching car that has had one repaint in its life and the motor rebuilt about 7000 miles ago. So what you see on the odometer is what is on the chassis. We have a giant stack of receipts that go with this car including motor specs. This is a very nice car. As you will see in the pics this is about a 15 year old paint job and it presents very well for the age. We are always brutally honest here and we will tell you that your eyes do not deceive you the car and the hood do not match. The hood is more the original color of the car. Do not let that detract you from how nice this car is. A little paint never hurt anyone. Correct paint and this car goes up 30 in value from what we are asking for it. Nothing like having built in equity the day you buy it. The interior of this cool car is in excellent shape. You will not see any rips or tears in the seats or headliner. The carpet is in great shape as are the T Tops. The fit and finish on the deluxe door panels look great and the rubber trim is in great shape as well. We just can not say enough good things about this car. You can make it a daily driver or kick it up a notch and make it a great collectible that it is. Now for under the hood and the business end of things. As you will see in the pic this is the original motor to the car. This is a real LT1. If that wasn't enough this motor has been completely gone through and we have the data sheets to show it. Just to name a few things this has had .030 over Eagle pistons and Eagle Rods aluminum roller rockers comp cam and the list just goes on and on. You will see nice long tube headers and a great sounding FlowMaster exhaust as well. BiN $29,995 (Ended) on May 17, 2018. 1) Up for sale is a very nice 1972 Corvette LT1 in Bryer Blue with Black Leather interior. It is a numbers matching car with a ZR1 (CKZ) stamped LT1 engine block. Based on the options, this car is a one of one car!! The car is in great shape. It looks, drives, and turns heads everywhere it goes. I also have all of the documentation for this car. located in FL. Here is some of the stats and info from the owner who did the restoration. Exterior: 945 Bryar Blue (5.99), Interior: 404 Black (Leather). Car history: 1972 Corvette LT-1 Coupe, Numbers Matching, with ZR-1 engine pad stamping! This Corvette coupe is optioned as an standard LT-1, but the factory installed the CKZ engine destined for the legendary ZR-1! Corvette experts around the country are fascinated by this engine/option combination. The car is numbers matching and has all the correct LT-1 options, but the factory installed an engine with ZR-1 performance option code. Rare indeed! The Bryar Blue paint is in good condition for its age. The odometer is working and shows 85,448 original miles. The exterior trim is all original right down to the rims and center caps. The black interior has been restored and is in excellent condition. The frame, radiator support and suspension pieces are solid and rust free. The vacuum system for the headlights and wiper arm door is all new and a new gas tank has been installed. A complete mechanical restoration was performed by ex-Richard Petty and Richard Childress car builder Rick Mann. The engine was balanced and blueprinted and filled with a Callies crank, Eagle Rods and 10:1 Speed Pro pistons. The top end consist of a Comp Cams hydraulic flat tappet cam with Brodix aluminum heads and Aluminum Roller Rockers. The original factory high performance aluminum intake is topped with a correct number Holley #6239 780cfm 4150 series carburetor. An MSD tach drive distributor and ignition box have been installed as upgrades for the ignition system. The numbers matching M-21 close ratio transmission and posi-traction rear end have been rebuilt and all suspension bushings have been replaced. A complete book of restoration details and reciepts are available. This is a very nice car that should be driven and enjoyed. It is not a trailer queen but a car you would enjoy driving to the car shows. It is a numbers matching investment grade Corvette that will most certainly increase in value over time. UPDATE: After some discussion of the engine pad stamp, I contacted Drew Papsun, who is a renowned corvette C3 LT1 expert. From the stamp we have determined that it is not the original factory stamp. So, I cannot guarantee that the block is the original block. I was told when I bought the car that it was the orig block that had been rebuilt. So, its possible that the orig block was decked and restamped, but there is no way to verify this. It is and has been verified to be an orig LT1 car with the orig correct transmission, just a possible rebuilt motor. Its still every bit as good as a driver and actually has more power than the orig LT1 motor setup. 85,448 miles. Ended at $21,571 (RnM) on May 17, 2016.
