| 1972 Corvette LT-1 with A/C, one of 240 built, California car. This California original Corvette was stored in a warehouse since 1995 and I bought it from the estate of the long term owner. It was painted in 2000 and never put together. The paint is flawless. The freshly rebuilt LT-1, 350 engine was wrapped in plastic beside the car. The 51,5XX miles appears to be original based on the limited wear on the interior and the super clean condition under the car. It is tight and drives like new. This car is a very rare model with the LT-1 high performance engine option. It also has air conditioning which makes it one of only 240 built. It also has almost every factory option available that year. We have: Four speed transmission Deluxe leather interior in black. Power steering. Power brakes. AM/FM stereo radio. Power windows. Tilt/telescopic steering wheel. Air Conditioning. All shielding is in place, the carburetor is the correct date code, the block is the correct date code and the exhaust manifolds are original to the car. The engine has the VIN stamped into it however I cannot assure that it is the original block. I can supply pictures. It runs strong and drives like a new car. We are just back from a 50 mile run through the hills of Ojai and now have about 100 miles since assembly. Clutch assembly is new, the Rally wheels are new and the BF Goodrich radial TA’s are brand new too. Brakes were flushed and work perfectly. The paint is a very high quality job that has not been outdoors since 2000 when it was done. It cost almost $10,000 for the paint alone in that year (have receipts) and it was stored after it was painted. The car has not been on the road since 1995. It is a beautiful silver which is the original color, code 924 (pewter silver) for this car. All the exterior chrome has been replated and the emblems are new as is the rocker panel trim. The car shows extremely well and the paint is perfect in every detail. There is not a chip, mark or scratch and it is polished to perfection. You will not be disappointed. Headlights are working and the wiper door works properly with all the correct vacuum lines. All the gauges work except the clock and the radio. The fuel tank is new. I am waiting for the new correct AC compressor and it should be in and charged up by the end of sale. This car has a totally original interior with the black leather seats in excellent condition. Trim code 404. There is a small seam split on the drivers seat. The dash is perfect with no cracks or wear. There is one small crack on the drivers door panel. Carpets are excellent and appear to be original. The t-tops are excellent in and out. The rear window is removable. All the weatherstrips are new. The power windows are quick and smooth. All the glass is excellent and all appear to be factory original. Overall this is a rare California Corvette that is in super original condition with a fresh engine and beautiful repaint in the factory color. It has never been modified or messed with and it drives like new. There is of course no hint of rust anywhere as this car was sold new here in CA and still wears its original blue and gold license plates. It is currently registered until 2013. I have the clear title in my name. You will not be disappointed with this car. I have the car advertised elsewhere and reserve the right to remove it from ebay.
