I've got a 454 block from a 70 corvette with a CZU stamping casting # 3963512. Would this add any value to my 70' SS being that it is an actual 70' model engine or is it only worth something to a 70 corvette owner . I have a 73' 454 truck engine in the car now and thinking on swapping. I have heard some people would pay more for a car with the right year model block even with the wrong VIN and engine codes stamped on it. I'm sure you guys will know. Apr 1, 2002 Thanks guys, I knew I'd get a straight answer here. I think I will find some corvette sites to list this on. It may be possible that the original car could still be around. The Vin # on the block is 70S416864. Can any of you code crackers tell me what the cars full VIN # would be with just these numbers? I think I'll put this in the tag team forum also.
