Car history:
The car was bought new at Berglund Chevrolet in Roanoke, Va by one of their employees in Nov. 1973. It ended up at a used-car lot in Asheville, NC where I purchased it in August of 1975. The car had about 4600 miles when I bought it. I contacted the first owner who told me he never drove the car in the rain. Also, he told me it was one of those Corvettes with the lousy St. Louis paint job so his dealership repainted the car before he took delivery. I sold the car in April 1977 to a man I worked with. He very rarely drove the car and kept it covered in his basement. That man and I worked together until late 1994 and the car still looked as good as it did when he bought it. I talked to him a few years ago and he told me the car still has only about 11,000 original miles. He will NEVER sell this car.
