1) This is a 100 original, unrestored 1969 Chevrolet Corvette with 69,XXX actual miles. As they say, it's only original once. It's numbers matching, both engine and transmission but most importantly it's an Arizona car and completely rust free. Reason for selling is because while we enjoy it, we have found we enjoy modern muscle more. No low ballers, if you text offering $2-$3k less than what I'm asking I'll ignore you. It was owned by a lady basically its entire life until she could no longer enjoy it due to age. She purchased it used in 1970 at Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix, AZ with 2,800 miles and it has never left Arizona. This isn't a Midwest, Northern or Florida car where you have rust surprises you can't see or issues hiding under a fancy paint job. It comes with loads of documentation and paperwork such as: Protect-O-Plate, All factory books and manuals, Service and repair documents, Window stickers, New battery (purchased May 2017). This is a restorer's dream or a great Sunday cruiser to work on and improve while you enjoy it. Runs great, stops great and drives straight as an arrow. This 1969 C3 Corvette came factory equipped with: 8-cyl. 350cid/300hp 4bbl L48 engine, 3 speed Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 automatic transmission, Air conditioning, Posi rear end, 4 wheel disc brakes, Power Brakes, Power Steering, T-tops, Pop out rear window, AM/FM Radio, Factory Alarm This car represents the true meaning of an honest, original and unrestored classic car. This isn't a barn find which usually means it's original but been severely neglected, it's been loved and driven. It's also not a concourse car or been highly modified for those looking for a restomod. The paint has some chips here and there, it has had a paint touchup and the paint shines up nicely. It was garage kept so the headlight lenses are all original and the lights flip up as they should. The photos make the car show really well, many people have come to see the car locally and expected a mint $35,000 car and a deal of the lifetime. However, the paint has the typical patina a 48-year-old lacquer paint job should but still polishes up nicely. Everything inside works, gauges, windows, radio, lights, even the emergency brake light! Known maintenance items: Drips a small bit of oil, Needs low beam bulbs, Probably needs a radiator flush/pressure test, R12 Recharge. The plugs and wires were recently changed, it still had the original wires but has a hesitation when flooring it in first gear The only non-original parts (besides normal wear/maintenance items) are the new tires, front seat inserts, carpet and side mirrors. The reason I say 100 per cent original is because it comes with the original chrome side mirror and original front seat inserts. It also comes with a box containing every original OEM, from the factory part that was replaced since new. Examples would be the original smog pump and original cigarette lighter. The owner never threw anything away related to this car and always used OEM parts purchased at the deal during the period. It also comes with a light bulb kit for the center console lights and a few more new parts. No bid at starting $18,000 on August 8, 2017.
