| This is a 1974 Corvette Stingray t-top. I bought this from a friend who was the original owner. He put 21,000 miles on it and parked it and it sat in his yard for about 7 years. He took the trim off the bottom outside of the doors and the door panels. When I got it from him I didn't know if it would run. I bought a battery and poured some gas in the carb and she fired right up. I had to pull the motor out and put the freeze plugs in and the a/c condensor is busted. I also had to cut the driver side exhaust off because it was smashed shut. I have the exhaust pipe. It just needs about a 2 foot section welded in to make it work. The gas tank is in pretty bad shape too, but I have an inline fuel filter running to the carb to keep the rust out. I have drove this car down the road and the motor runs great but the car jus needs some tlc on the inside and out. All of the gauges work except for the tach and the drivers window isn't working. I can run a hotwire from the battery to it and it will roll up and down great. The t-tops may leak a little but what car with t-tops doesn't. This car is a steal for what I'm asking. |
