| 38,148 miles from the odometer. December 19, 2008. A 3-Owner Car, Only 37,877 Original Miles! Here is an absolutely gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Corvette coupe in excellent original condition. It is a #'s matching 350ci 350hp, factory four speed car with factory A/C. This car is a rare find being that it still retains all of its original interior and paint. This car is as clean, original, and rust-free as they come. Absolutely everything lines up perfect because it has never been apart. This car has all of its original documents from new including the original window sticker, original protect o plate, original delivery inspection sheet, and original owners manual. This is a totally numbers matching car front to back and is loaded with a lot of desirable factory options. This car was bought new in 1969 at Dick Handy Chevrolet in Emporia, Kansas and was bought as a gift for the original owners son for attending college in Wichita, Kansas. The son drove the car for 3 years and then parked it because he was so afraid of something happening to his beautiful new Corvette. The car was preserved and maintained over the years by the second owner and has only been driven on special occasions. As a matter of fact we just talked to the original owner who is now 93 years old who verified the history. It's loaded with the following equipment: - 350ci 350hp V8 (#'s Match) - Factory Air Conditioning (blows ice cold) - Factory Four Speed Manual Transmission - Power Steering - Power Disc Brakes - Posi Traction Axle 3.55 ratio - Side Mounted Exhaust System (very rare) - Headrests - Original Factory AM FM radio (still works) - Original Rally Wheels - Raised White Letter Tires The exterior of this rare car is in beautiful ORIGINAL condition. This car still retains 90% of its original paint and has minor touched ups. This is an original color coded "Lemans Blue" car that for being mostly all original looks outstanding. The paint still shines beautifully and really is something you don't see everyday, being original! All the chrome and stainless on the car is totally original and still looks excellent. Everything on the car lines up just the way it did from the factory because nothing has been tampered with on this car it is ALL ORIGINAL! The frame is 100% rust free and solid as a rock. In the interest if full discloser of all of our cars I wanted to point a few minor things on the exterior of this beautiful car. Remember now this car is all original and has never been painted on except for some minor touch ups..... with that being said the car does have a few little chips and paint flaws but who cares it's ORIGINAL! These are very minor flaws that you can't even see unless you are 2 inches away from the car. The interior is 100% all original and looks just like is did back in 1969. This has to be the nicest most original interior I have ever seen. The seats, door panels, carpet, and dash are all original and is definitely something you don't see every day. All the chrome and stainless in the interior are in perfect show quality condition and show now signs of pitting. The dash is in perfect condition the dash face and gauges are all like new! All the gauges work as they should. Even the clock works. It had an 8-track player put in the car in the '70's but I have the original AM-FM radio that goes with the car. All the courtesy lights as well as all the running lights work as they should. All the glass on the car is original and looks excellent. Look at the dash and the steering wheel...not one crack....all original!! Mechanically, this rare 69' Corvette coupe is in excellent condition! The original numbers matching, 350ci 350hp V8 purrs like a kitten and and sounds awesome with the factory side mounted exhaust. The original four speed transmission shifts perfect just like it did back in the day. This car has all been checked over mechanically and is ready for the next cruise night or car show. The odometer reads 37,877 original miles, yes ORIGINAL. It features its original spare and the original jack/tools. The underside is all original and is totally solid. I love driving this car it is so smooth and is just a blast to shift through the gears. This is an ultra rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on. The 1969 Corvette has always been an iconic car and is any collector's dream piece. It is obvious that this car has been extremely well taken care of over the years.
