08/28/2014 One of a kind 1979 Corvette L-82, 4 Speed Custom Race/Show car. Only 49k Original garage kept miles, only 10,000 miles since built in the Late 80s. This car was built by an aero space engineer and that being said when this car was built it was done from the ground up and lots of time and over engineering was put into it. This car was built to be a Ferrari killer on the street and track as well as being drop dead stunner at any car show! Where to being the engine is a 383 Stroker when tuned pushes close to 500hp, Roller Rockers, Internally Balanced and Blue Printed, Larger Cam, Pete Jackson Gear Drive, High Pressure Oil Pump, Deep Sump Oil Pan, Scatter Shield, Huge Holley Carb, Aluminum Intake, MSD Ignition, MSD Rev Controller, MSD Remote adjustable Timing, Fuel Line Ice Box, Full Nitrous Set up with hidden bottle, Electric Fuel Pumps, Steel Braided Fuel Line, Custom Made Cold Air Intake, Hooker Headers and side exhaust with custom made cross over pipe, Doug Nash 4 Speed, Drive Shaft Loop, Built Rear, Custom Sway Bars Front and Rear the list goes on and on and on!!! The exterior was redone in 15 coats of beautiful black lacquer paint and polished to a mirror fished (far nicer that the factory paint), the car has factory indy spoilers in the front and rear and a fully functional cold air cowl induction hood was installed and fits the car perfectly! The wheels are custom made 16 inch 2 piece ARE black with polished lips and perfect Goodyear high performance tires. The interior is near flawless original with soooo many upgrade some so well engineered you do not even notice them. The most obvious is a fully functionally auto meter gauge package with warning lights (cylinder head temp on each head, brake pressure, fuel pressure, vacuum, transmission temp, oil temp plus all factory gauges work). 5 Point seat belts custom installed using factory seats, full switch panel (fuel pump, nitrous etc) Custom installed shifter with reverse lock out, hidden timing advance controller, NOS button installed in steering wheel, Raised rear floor that hides fully size nitrous bottle and deep cell battery under the rear compartment assembly, fire extinguishers etc. Also installed was a $10,000 Nakamichi Sound Sytem which at the time was the best sound system available on the market for cars, the original door panels were modified to hide all the speaker (at first look you would never know the quality of the work is amazing!) the radio has a block off plate that completely hides it, in the rear there are 3 amplifiers and 3 crossovers hidden in the floor which powers the system, a removable subwoofer box sits on top and hides everything (and yes everything is ventilated again this car was OVER engineered ). The weatherstripping is like new (again this car was garage kept). The car runs amazing and drives even better. This car is not a rattle box, its solid and handles like its on rails! The car was built over 20 years ago. There are a few flaws like a little spidering in the paint on the doors etc and there is an exhaust leak on the drivers side header but over all this car is stunning!
