1978 Corvette L-82 Code correct Corvette Mahogany exterior, code correct Mahogany cloth interior. Numbers matching 220hp 350ci L82 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, posi rear end. SURVIVOR! Assembled on August 11, 1978, this Corvette L-82 is very much original and correct, and is in extremely nice condition for its age. A one year only color, Corvette Mahogany is very similar to the Sunset Orange that was offered on the 2005-06 Corvette. This paint is in very good to excellent condition, appearing to be a recent job with no stress cracks or other major blemishes and plenty of shine. Correct slotted aluminum wheels are mounted, and wear BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires with approximately 70% treadlife remaining. Weatherstripping on this car looks to be original, and is mostly intact and in good condition. Taillights show some normal hairline cracking but no major issues. The interior of this 1978 Corvette L-82 appears to be almost completely original, right down to the carpet. Steering wheel is in very nice condition with no major cracking, dash cap is free of cracks, and the RARE factory cloth seats are very nice as well, showing minimal wear and no rips or tears. The door panels on this car are particularly nice with no obvious flaws, and the center console is in very nice shape as well with just a few paint chips on the ash tray lid. Gauges show minimal fading and relatively clear lenses. This is a very rare, very original car with tons of options and the desirable 4 speed manual, so get it before it's gone!
