| This 1982 Corvette Collector Edition was originally sold by Konner Chevrolet of West Caldwell, NJ. Car comes with a copy of origional window sticker, a copy of the build sheet, and the Origional build sheet from the top of the gas tank. The Collector Edition model was the only 1982 Model with a fully lifting, frameless glass hatch back with remote release. The car's paint was stripped and was repainted in the special silver beige metallic that was only available on the collector edition. The interior was completely redone in the correct silver/beige leather seats. New door panels, new carpet, and new leather wrapped steering wheel complete this interior. Car was purchased by me in December of 2003 and restoration began in April of 2004. It was completed in December of 2010. It was a body on restoration. The engine was pulled and completely gone over. The throttle body was rebuilt. The gas tank and fuel unit are new as well as the battery. Car is fully loaded with power windows, steering, brakes, & seats. Car has A/C. The engine is a 5.7 liter V8 with fuel injection and Automatic Transmission. |
