| Description: This is America s favorite sports car and remains a legend throughout the racing community. As one of the most popular high horsepower cars on the road today it all started with the classic American muscle generation. This 1970 Stingray has been fully restored. This is a beautiful restoration that has been done right with enough documentation to make even the most meticulous collector satisfied. Interior: The inside of this car has had every stitch of the upholstery replaced. The interior looks brand new. All the gauges and meters are functioning properly and are in immaculate condition. The 4 speed Hurst shift knob and rod are subtle hints that this car means business. This car has all new weather stripping and GM outer window seals. From the carpet to the dash, this car looks like it just left the showroom. Exterior: The paint on this Stingray just shows how much time and money the previous owner has put into this collectible quality beauty. The deep Rally red luster compliments the corvettes already stunningly sharp bodylines. The rally wheels are in fantastic condition and give the Vette a very classy look. The stock outer appearance is quite deceiving considering there is a real beast lurking under the hood. There are a few blemishes in the front just under the hood line. Other than that the paint is beautiful. Drivetrain: This Vette has a very impressive power plant. The .030 over 400 small block is fully built. With a 350 crank and a Crane solid roller cam and full roller valve train this engine is producing an abundance of reliable power. All of this power is transferred through a 4 speed manual gearbox, which handles it well. This is the original M-20 transmission that has had all of the syncros replaced. The engine and gearbox work together in harmony, with perfectly rev matched down shifts and excellent holding force under full power, this was a match made in heaven. The gearbox connects to the pavement through a 3.36 posi rear end that provides great traction. The engine delivers smooth and aggressive torque that gets this car moving very quickly. There are no mechanical issues with this car. The engine and transmission are both in perfect running condition. There are no misfires, unusual noises, smoke or leaks.
