I bought the car in August 2015 from a dealership in Lock Haven, PA. I was told that the previous owner was the brother of the dealership's owner. He was to have bought it from auction a few years previous. When I bought it, the original engine had 76,600 miles on it. The clock doesn't work anymore, but all other gauges do. It is a show winner already and I receive compliments on it every time I have it out. Below is one of the previous owner's description: 1972 Chevrolet Corvette 4-speed 350 original 75k car with matching numbers. The car has been in the family for over 25 years, it has been well maintained and seen no winter or bad weather driving. It is in great condition, everything works right down to the dash clock. Engine: complete professional rebuild at 72k miles, puts out approximately 350 hp. Transmission: 4-speed also completely rebuilt. Body/Paint/Chrome: professionally repainted 2 years ago with all refinished original chrome. Interior: Seats have been recently redone, all interior in excellent condition-no tears or scratches, all new weather stripping, all gauges work. 75,336 miles. September 25, 2011.
