Car history:
1971 Corvette original Big block 454, numbers match, M21 4 speed, has LS6 heads, pistons and intake, new Holley 800. Engine is built to LS-6 specs. except it has a hydraulic cam. Brand new brakes/calipers all around. Frame is in great shape, no rust damage. New tires, gas tank, fuel pump, and radiator. Bridehampton Blue paint job is about 3 years old. Factory style sidepipe covers, but pipes are custom 3 in underneath to let it breathe (the factory pipes were very restrictive) along with hedman headers. Options include power windows, pwr steering, tilt-tele steering column. Interior is in good shape, but unrestored, except for carpet which is new. The driver side door panel is scuffed on the bottom right corner. I would classify this car as a great driver quality Corvette. It is extremely fast, very reliable, runs great. Lights pop up fine, wipers work, but sometimes the wiper door opens slow but I will correct that before it is sold. It has a scratch at the rear behind the back tire low, exhaust cover has crack on the Right front molding. Mechanically it is great, except it leaves a small oil leak the size of a quarter when parked (typical chevy engine)The gauge cluster is new with an aftermarket Sony cd player/aux/ipod connection. I have the orig cluster which goes with the car. I do not have the orig radio. Weatherstripping on the doors and t-tops is all new. I don't want to sell, but have 2 kids who want to ride with me and a vette doesn't make sense anymore. I have owned 3 chrome bumper vettes and this is by far the best one I have owned. I have clear TX title.
