1972 CORVETTE, CONVERTIBLE, NUMBERS MATCHING 350 CU. IN. / 4SPD 50,350 MILES. This is a true 50,350 mile numbers matching 1972 Corvette convertible. It is white with black interior and comes with both tops. The car has factory power steering, power brakes and A/C. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION: The engine is the original 50,350 mile 350 that came in it from the factory. The ignition has been upgraded to an MSD distributor & ignition box. It has an Edelbrock Thunder 650cfm carburetor and Edelbrock intake. It also has a set of ceramic coated headers with thermal wrapping. The exhaust is finished with new factory exhaust out the back. All the original factory engine components have been retained and come with the car so it can be returned to showroom stock. The car currently has a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed transmission in it that makes highway driving and gas mileage much better. The original factory Muncie 4 speed transmission and factory shifter come with the car. The factory power steering has been completely rebuilt to new, including the steering box. The radiator has been cleaned and painted. Exterior: The car has been repainted in the original factory paint code with basecoat, clearcoat. The hood is an NOS factory LT-1 hood and the original smallblock hood comes with the car. The car comes with a new soft top and the original hardtop. The hardtop came with white vinyl but now has a new factory black vinyl. The hardtop comes with a cover and a roll around cradle. Interior: The interior has been redone with new seat covers, new carpet, and padding. The interior was gutted including the dash and new firewall insulation and cool tek insulation was installed. The car has a custom auto sound radio with MP3 plug. The A/C has been through completely and is Ice Cold. Suspension & Frame: The frame is solid with no rust ever and no repairs. The suspension has been completely rebuilt and blueprinted by “Vansteel” of Tampa, Fl. It has new Bilstien shocks front and rear. It has all new suspension bushings. The A-Arms have been powder coated and all bushings and steering arms replaced. The rear suspension has been completely blueprinted with adjustable super struts, composite rear spring, H.D. big block axle tubes & u-joints, new wheel bearings, new sway bar bushings, new H.D. rear 3rd member, and offset H.D. rear control arms. It also has new rear H.D. body mounts. The brakes have been totally redone and now have Hawk pads and stainless steel brake lines and hoses. It also has new emergency brake cables.
