| 1979 Chevrolet Corvette *Please note this is an L-48 model with L-82 badging* Selling my prized possession... I'd say it's about 85% restored in my opinion. This car runs GREAT, and FAST. No problems whatsoever. I get compliments on it all the time. Here's some info: CLEAR title and current registration Passes smog (smogged in December) 350 ci V-8 motor L-48 (car has L-82 badging though) Automatic 4-speed 700r-4 transmission Recently painted New carpet New gauge bezel New retro-style stereo with iPod connector T-tops Power windows New tires Rally wheels Motor runs great New brakes/calipers New exhaust – MagnaFlow mufflers Still to be restored: Needs new speedo cable installed (I have a new cable, just haven’t installed it yet) Clock doesn’t work (very typical of these older Corvettes) Needs new power door lock actuators (locks still work, just manually) Could use new rear of side window weatherstrip Paint has a couple very minor scuffs Horn doesn't beep (probably needs a new horn relay? -~$15) Power antenna doesn’t ascend/descend automatically (antenna is connected and works, though) Price: US $12,500.00 |
