| West Coast Classics are proud to present an exceptional and very collectible and rare example of this 'Silver Anniversary Edition' 1978 Chevrolet Corvette 350 V8 coupe with only 28K original but undocumented miles in it's all original 'Silver Anniversary' factory color of (Code 13/07) two-tone Silver with 'Light Silver Upper & Dark Silver Lower paint divided by silver striping' and with the correct 'Oyster' color (Trim Code 122) leather interior with no signs of any history of any rust and it's original matching # 350 V8 engine with 28K original miles and original factory options including automatic transmission, power disc brakes, power steering, power windows, power door locks, power antenna and dual rear speakers, Mirror T-Tops and air conditioning! 'America's only true sports car' was 25 years old in 1978 and Chevrolet observed the milestone by fitting a special commemorative emblem to all Corvette that year. But only one special option code B2Z with factory codes 13/07 paint would be amongst the collectible models this year and this was the '25th Anniversary Editiom' with its distinct and exclusive special edition cast aluminum alloy wheels, dual sport mirrors and factory two-tone silver paint treatment with an upper body of silver metallic and charcoal silver on its lower body and with pin striping accentuating the front upper profiles, wheel openings, front fender vents, hood and rear license cavity. These 1978 'Anniversary Editions' models and its cousin the 'Pace Car Replica' boasted an almost 40% premium to the price of a regular 1978 Corvette and were bid up to as much as 60% over the already inflated price by some collectors eager to get their hands on one and are therefore highly coveted and highly prized amongst collectors today. This particular example's paint is in very good condition and the interior and the trim is also beautiful and stock with its original factory radio! The car was obviously always garaged and shows no rust or any history of any accidents and all the options are working as they should including all gauges and lights and the AC. This is obviously one very rare and highly desirable example of this classic American sports car - a rust and accident free 1978 Chevrolet Corvette 'Silver Anniversary Edition' with only 28K original miles in virtually completely original and unmolested condition throughout! An obviously always garaged and unabused example! The engine purrs imperceptibly under the hood and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly through the gears - an absolute pleasure to drive without any of the older Corvette typical shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for its money!
