The original engine had a 427, 390 HP engine. I wanted something special. I owned the car for 3 1/2 years and upgraded the entire car. I did not want to add any power adders such as blowers that will effect the handling due to excess weight or nitrous. This Corvette does not need any work at all! not even an oil change. this engine needs 400 more miles before it is broken in. You can drive this car to save on auto transport costs anywhere you like.. Clear title, non salvage, no liens, SMOG is NOT required even in California, becaust it is a 1969. This engine was custom built for me and not a crate engine The bare aluminum block was $7500 with shipping!. This MONSTER CORVETTE was completed 3 months ago, if you add all the parts, it cost me over $80,000 dollars. I had my fun, this is a MONSTER CORVETTE, now it is time for me to move on. The sale of the MONSTER CORVETTE comes with a high rise fiber glass hood, bumper bracketts, braces, and fasteners. There is NO rust on this car! I am not asking $200,000 dollars. This MONSTER CORVETTE CAN MAKING YOU DIZZY UNDER HARD ACCELERATION. I am prepared to take a huge loss. if there was a 100 dollar bill on the dash, the passenger cannot get to it when you are accelerating hard. Another important note is do not put anything on the dash because if you TAKE OFF too fast it will come flying at you. The G forces will be over whelming at first so I would recommend testing it out in an empty parking lot. The car is extra fast due to the aluminum engine block which reduces 140lbs from the front.. without a hood reduces another 55lbs. it all adds up. It is very rare to find an aluminum big block, so this Corvette is very special. It is not to be compared with the stock low-power stock 435 HP big block L88 or ZL-1, Corvettes w/ matching numbers. Most Corvettes with matching numbers has parts that is not from that era. One can buy a part and they can stamp any date you wish at a extra charge. In my book, those cars have no pick-up. L88's are too slow. It was fast for its time. I dont want a car that only looks fast. I want a car that is truely fast. Stock corvettes look kinda nice. but not fantastic. New ZR1's cant do wheelies. They are ok cruisers. Not breathtaking acceleration. if a car can't do a wheelie. then it is under powered. This MONSTER CORVETTE can do wheelies! One project i never done was to have wheelie bars welded on. If you have a ZR1, can you do wheelies? ZR1 are 6.2 liter small blocks. You will be proud on the track and on the streets with this Monster Corvette and you dont have to spend $130,000 on a new ZR1.
1/4 mile estimated about 9 secs. i dont want to push it. sice the engine is not broken in. i dont dare to go over 6000 rpm at this time. using Hoosier drag slicks. i dont want to push it because the engine is not broken in. i dont want something to go wrong. the rev limiter is set at 6500 rpm at this time. after broken in. i would change it to 7000 rpm.
Do NOT ask me if this MONSTER CORVETTE needs any work, I will answer you now. This car does NOT need ANY work, and I'm serious! Wheelie bars would be a good addition.
Engine block information: Standard 4.840" or 4.900" spread bore spacing provide large bore capacity. The camshaft is raised .400" above the stock location to increase clearance for the connecting rods and crankshaft counter weights, and the main oil gallery is located alongside the camshaft tunnel to eliminate interference with the crank assembly.
Advanced engineering makes Dart aluminum big blocks the choice for serious competition.
Features: Premium alloy: Dart aluminum blocks are cast from virgin 355-T61 aerospace alloy for superior strength and integrity.

1) This is a 1969 Corvette Coupe L36 427 4 speed car that has been customized. The 427 is no longer in the car or with the car. It now has a 454 with the 4 speed still in the car. The body has had some modifications as you can see in the photos. It has Centerline wheels all the way around it and Mickey Thompson tires on the rear. The tires are in excellent condition. There is one wheel cap missing on the passenger's front. All of the suspension, front end parts, brakes, shocks, bolts, & brake lines are all new. The seats are new. The stereo is the original AM/FM stereo. The odometer is showing 65,556 which is believed to be correct, but can't be 100% sure. It does have some rock pecks as any used vehicle does. There are also a few places where the body is not perfect, I will show closeups of those areas in the pictures. The car runs and drives great. It is cold natured. It takes a few minutes to warm up, then it is fine. It has a Demon Carb and many other extras. January 11, 2008.
