1969 Corvette Roadtser 427, A true big block Corvette, 4 speed - Factory Hardtop, Correctly restored, Non matching 454 with less than 500 miles since rebuild. A beautifully restored 1969 Corvette Big Block Roadster. Optioned with factory Hardtop. Resprayed in its original Daytona Yellow. We believe this is a true L68 427-400hp Corvette. Rear axle code (FA)indicates a big block rearend and 3.70 gear ratio with Posi. Engine is a non matching 454 that has less than 500 miles since being rebuilt. There are receipts for the rebuild. We do not have the original motor. Other recent work by current owner includes new gas tank and lines/ clutch at time of rebuild. This car has been gone through mechanically and cosmetically prior to current owner acquiring it. Undercarriage is very clean with no signs of rust or rust repair or accident damage. Brakes and brake lines front and rear appear to have been recently rebuilt/ replaced as well as rear springs/ steering box and lower front suspension. Car runs and drives beautifully. Very tight and all systems, except headlight doors which stopped working only recently, are fully functional. Interior has been freshened as well. Seats are in excellent condition as are door panels and dash. Softtop is like new. Console does show a bit of wear and has a small crack in the rear section. Interior is otherwise excellent. 24,686 miles. Color from the owner. May 20, 2008.
