1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th Anniversary Ed. 350ci V8 with 4-speed manual transmission. Here is a sharp looking 1978 Corvette with a lot of nice touches that really make it stand out from the others you may be considering. We are selling this Corvette for a friend of our General Manager, who also owned and restored this car at one point about eight years ago. We have receipts approaching $10k that tell the story of this vehicle's restoration but certainly, if you have any questions, please email us and we will be happy to answer them for you. Odometer does not indicate proper mileage - True Mileage Unknown. The Outside: The burgundy finish on the fiberglass body shines with a deep luster that really accentuates the coke-bottle shape of this classic sports tourer. A few blemishes are present on the body but nothing that really takes away from the overall look of the car. There are closeups of the offending spots in the pictures section. All the glass is in great shape. All original 25th Anniversary badges are in place. Overall, it's an 8/10. The Inside: The inside of this Corvette is immaculate! When it was restored, little details right down to the trim surrounding the heat and ventilation controls were replaced to make it all look like new. The rest of the interior wears a patina that is consistent with the pampered life this Corvette has enjoyed for the past 32 years. Call it 8.5/10 The Powertrain: Under the hood, a 350 cubic inch GM V8 motivates this classic. Mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and sandwiching a Centerforce clutch, this powertrain sounds amazing. This engine was built for the car eight years ago and features MSD ignition, Edelbrock heads and a Holley carburetor with automatic choke. The receipts really tell the story, no expense was spared in making this car run better than new. 9/10.
