Car history:
1982 Corvette Collector Edition T-Top hatchback coupe in original Silver-Beige paint with graduated hood and side decals. Collector Edition standard equipment includes removable mirrored glass roof panels, 1967 commemorative aluminum wheels (with matching center caps and new Goodyear Eagle GT 2 raised white letter tires), frameless glass hatchback with manual remote release and rear window defogger, accent pinstripes, original multi-tone silver-beige leather seats and door panels, original leather wrapped steering wheel and horn cap, power antenna and cloisonné exterior front and rear emblems. Optional equipment includes power driver seat, power door locks, electric sport mirrors, cruise control (needs a transducer) and after-market Ken Harrison KHE- 100 AM/FM/Cassette stereo radio (original AM/FM/Cassette radio is available). Standard equipment includes the original “Cross Fire” fuel injected 350ci engine rated at 200hp and 4-speed automatic transmission. Air conditioning, Power Windows, Tilt-Telescoping steering wheel, Anti-Theft alarm system and Fiberglass- reinforced monoleaf rear spring. Solenoid-operated under hood door directs fresh air directly into the air cleaner during full throttle. The Tilt-down spare tire carrier with lock and key still has the original tire. Courtesy lights in engine compartment, spare tire area, glove box and foot wells. Rear cargo area includes two covered storage compartments and pullout roller shade. Original scissors jack, wheel cap removal tool and owner’s manual are included. Upgrades include Hypertech Stage 1 power chip (this improves third to fourth gear shifting and the original computer chip will be provided), Chrome tips on the exhaust pipes, K&N dual air filters and new silver-beige carpeting in passenger and cargo area. The rear cargo area also has a silver-beige mat with embroidered Corvette emblem. Gray pullover seat covers and tan T-top storage case will be included with the car. This car is in very good condition, but does have small chips in the paint on the front and hood. The hood decal has cracks but the decal is not peeling at all. The side decals are in very good shape, but the passenger side does have a 1-inch scratch. There are surface scratches in the clear coat, but not into the paint. The rear bumper has one scratch above the left exhaust pipe. In 2006 the radiator, water pump and rear monoleaf spring were replaced. In 2010 the original differential was rebuilt. On November 6, 2011 this car received an “honorable mention” plaque at the Corvettes for Chip show in West Chester PA. I purchased this car from Conte's Corvettes in Vineland NJ in 2000. It had 40K miles when purchased. This car has never been in an accident. Price: US $13,800.00
