| 1971 Corvette Stingray Coupe, T-Top, all #s matching, 350 automatic, 270hp, Air, 57,500 original miles, 4th owner. I purchased this car in 2006. Since I have owned the car it has never seen snow or rain, driven only a few hundred miles per year, and is garage kept with a dust cover, stored away in the winter. The car was repainted before I bought it, the original color is war bonnet yellow. The car came from Texas. I was told this car was not driven at 48,000 miles and stored away for about 15 years, due to a prior owner illness. I bought the car with 55,000 miles. Some restoration was done prior to my purchase, frame was taken off. When I bought the car, I took it to a Corvette Specialist in order to obtain a professional opinion regarding the cars condition. In summary, the car was rated as a good driver, super clean bird cage (for those who know that is), and no major issues. I can provide a full copy of this report as well as all service papers and tank sheet that was provided to me. The car was not fully restored, so it does require work if you are looking for a show room condition car. The car is original, with no modifications. Factory AC is in tack, but does not work. Radio needs work, as well as speakers. T-Top is in great shape, does not leak. Head lamp and wiper blade vacuum is fully functional. Removable rear window. Carpet was replace before I bought it. Center Console under hand brake, plastic is cracked, easy to replace. Chrome is in excellent condition. The car can surely use someone who has the passion to restore it back to showroom condition, or someone who will enjoy it as is. Since I have owned the car I only had one service item, left rear brake caliper replaced. I have put less than 3,000 miles on the car. I have simply enjoyed driving this car and taking it to car shows. The car is an attention getter; at red lights and in parking lots, folks will start up a conversation with you.
