This car has a new crate 350 motor currently installed with less than 2,000 miles on it. Car also comes with the original 350 block cast #3970010 and Engine code V023CJL. It is mated to the original completely rebuilt muncie 4 speed transmission.
The trim plate indicates Paint 905 and Trim 400 which corresponds to original Silver exterior and Black vinyl interior.
The orginal This car was purchased in 2005 from the second owner. He had started a complete restoration but run out of money. The car had been disassembled, painted with a red base coat clear coat and stored in his garage in Seattle, WA. All the parts removed were either refurbished or replaced with new. I will list all the items replaced on this car with less than 2000 miles on it since tear down, very few things still remain to make this car 100% complete:
Driveline: New Radiator, 290hp GM crate motor + intake manifold + resurfaced flywheel+ harmonic damper+ Bell housing cover, Rebuilt 4-speed transmission, New Clutch and pressure plate, Completely rebuilt front end with new springs and cushions, spindles and bushings, shocks front and rear, new tie rod ends., New rear end gaskets & seals, new rear leaf spring and shocks, New stainless steel brake calipers, new steering gear assembly. Frame is solid all the way around... rails, crossmembers, etc. have some minor surface rust here and there but absolutely no scaling, pitting or holes.
Body: Body stripped to fiberglass, seams fiberglassed, professionally shot with base coat, clear coat. Garaged since paint job. Bumpers re-chromed front and rear, new drivers door glass, new windshield, New window crank mechanisms, new weatherstipping all way around, new wiper door actuator, OEM LT1 hood, NOM for the car. Paint has excellent shine but has a couple of small blemishes from being in the garage over the years.
Interior: New carpet kit, new deluxe door panels, New Leather seat covers installed over rebuilt seat frames, new chrome hinges, new upper console, new dash, many new interior panels, new rear view mirror, Lots of new console trim parts.
What it needs: Shifter console, rocker panels, door sill plates installed (new pair go with the car), windows need adjustment, exhaust tips, vacuum system hoses replaced. Headlights and windshield wipers will work fine when the vacuum hoses are replaced.
