Known as the LAST STINGRAY, this flame orange 76 t-top coupe was the last year they were badged as the "Stingray". I am offering this smoke free, numbers matching classic for the first time. I have owned this car for the past 20 yrs. I was told I was the third owner. I never researched that however. She drives straight and handles great. It has aftermarket true dual exhaust that have no leaks but they are getting a little tired. It is always stored and I just went out and she fired right up after sitting since October with very little cranking. I had the valve seals replaced several yrs ago. It burns no oil. Does not smoke, and neither do I. The alternater and water pump have been replaced. Other than that, all is original. The frame is solid with no rust damage other than some on the surface. It has the following options: FLAME RED aka ORANGE FLAME paint. Rare color then, more now since most were repainted from the popular 1970's colors. Buckskin leather interior. Original factory custom upgraded interior. Rare optioned 4-speed manual. Not sure if its an m-21 close ratio, but she sure shifts nice. If you want a true sports car, you gotta shift it yourself!! Air Conditioning. Was worked on and new parts installed a couple of years ago, but now needs recharging with new refrig. Posi-traction rear differential. Power steering and brakes. Brakes are stainless sleeved calipers with silicone brake fluid. Work great. Rear leaf spring replaced with mono leaf fiberglass rear spring. Tilt tele steering colum. AM-FM Cassette radio (replacement). 5-Aluminium original option Kelsey Hayes wheels with almost new Goodyear Eagle tires, Except for origanal spare. Everything works except the a/c and the clock. Clock works if you tap on it just right. The orange paint is in really nice condition. There is a ding in the headlight cover that I touched up several years ago. See photo where I am pointing. Some minor road rash. Chrome is in great condition. Wheels are nice and bright. No pitting. I polish them up each spring. The Drivers seat shows some wear which shows in the photo. I believe the privious owner replaced the carpet. The seat back plastic has the usual damage found in most. We drive this car about 200 mile a year on nice weekends. We take it no less than 50 miles at a time. Has not seen rain in 20 yrs. Adult owned. We are selling this as I had my left Knee replaced and it is too hard to get in and out of and push in the clutch, and I could use some more room in the barn.
