This is clean, very nice driving L-82 Corvette. It is equipped with a numbers matching engine and its all original. I have put valve seals in the car because it had some smoke when it started. It has the correct chevy performance heads with the screw- in studs. I had to add a starter solenoid because it had problems starting when it warmed up. The Corvette has a close ratio 4-speed and is eqipeed with a/c that works. I have the original painted tops and they are in good codition. I bought the glass tops from Corvette America. I have owned this car since 2006 and have had a lot of fun with it, but now it just sits. These are the big things that I have done to the car. It has: New Starter Shocks (front and back) Brakes (front and back) New Radiator (did not get hot just leaked) Power valve for steering Totally new headlamp vacuum system Paging alarm system Normal maintance and oil changes. This car is basically a barn find. One of the bigest things I like about this car is that it doses not leak water when it rains and only a little when it is power washed. It has the orignal paint over the car. Only the bumpers have been shot and that was before I bought it. It does have a spot on the passenger fender with a little pitting and some very small stress cracks where the body parts where assembled by Chevy. There was a small hole punched in the drivers fender and instead of repairing and painting it I installed a dummy lock like the old Stingrays had for the alarms. The clock does not work and the tack reads a little fast. This is an original type car that is very functinal. This car could be driven once in a while or every day.
