| Posted 08/23/2016 A one owner 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible located in our Indianapolis Showroom. This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is powered by its rebuilt, numbers matching L48 350 CID V8 engine, backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, running to a Posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears with 5,000 miles on the rebuild. The 350 CID V8 was professionally rebuilt by Bischoff Racing Engines and was bored and stroked to a 383 CID and is putting out roughly 400 horsepower which is a huge improvement over to the factory rating of a 195 horsepower. The engine is outfitted with an aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 CFM Double Pumper 4-Barrel Carburetor, MSD Distributor and Coil, and a set of Hooker Long Tube Headers. Not only does the engine look good, it sounds and performs even better making this Corvette a blast to drive. The original TH350 transmission was also rebuilt with a shift kit and 2,500 stall converter. Options on this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible include: Air Conditioning (not working), AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Tilt and Telescopic Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Anti-Theft System, Rally Wheels, and Radial Tires. This '74 Corvette underwent a professional frame off restoration with all new body bushings, suspension, fuel and brake lines, and brakes. The body was then painted back to its original 74 Medium Red color along with the factory hard top, new high rise fiberglass hood, and new front and rear fiberglass bumpers. The interior has been kept mostly original, retaining the factory original seats, console, dash, and door panels but new carpeting was put in to freshen it up. This car beckons its new owner to get in, drop the top, and enjoy the day out on an exhilarating cruise in this fabulous Corvette.
