| Car history: |
| 1980 Corvette that I will consider a project car. The Title when I received it has a "rebuilt" designation on it so mileage was not required to be recorded. Therefore, I cannot tell you how many miles are on the chassis. This is not the original engine for sure. I drove for almost 5 years while working on at my leisure. I have added since buying an Edelbrock Torker 2 manifold as well as Edelbrock 600cfm carburator with open face chromed air cleaner. New Monza mufflers installed in 2002, steel braiding installed over new radiator/heater hoses also in 2002. I have also installed a new windshield, old one cracked on passenger side. Paint not great, but not bad neither. The car has a detachable face Pioneer CD player that I will also supply to buyer that is not in pictures. Interior is in relatively nice shape, no rips/tears in leather bucket seats, it could use some new floor carpet. Vehicle had modified headlight kit which I supplied picture of. Car has not been out of the garage in about 4 years, transmission leaking from torque converter, common on the late 70's early 80's vettes. This car will definitely have to be trailered or towed to new destination. Last time I turned engine over may have had rod knocking??? Some engine work needed for sure, like I said I have not started it in over 4 years. I just do not have the time to invest in finishing a restoration project. This car needs someone who has the time to provide some TLC. |
