|1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stringray. Remember, this was the very last year for the Stingray name. Let's see, the motor is the original 350 V-8, which runs strong and smooth, no problems. The automatic transmission works good and just this past summer I had it flushed out to get any dirt and grime out of it. The paint is not original however, the previous owner had it painted a bright yellow, about three years ago. For the most part the paint still looks good with the exception of a small chip on the drivers side rear corner, which can be viewed in the pictures. Work that I have done on the car includes; new brakes and rotors on all four wheels, new wheel bearings on all four wheels( this was not necessary but these old vettes were notorious for them going bad, so I replaced them), new upper and lower ball joints and a few bushings. The speedometer does work, but the odometer does not, so I really can't say exactly how many miles are on the car. But as I stated it does run smoothly. Very important here the head lights function perfectly as they should, even if you don't get my Corvette always make sure they work.(cause they're a pain) Also a new brake fluid reservoir was installed two years ago and new weather stripping throughout. The air conditioning condensor is missing, I don't know why it was removed but its gone. However the lines for the air conditioning are still there. She is a real head turner where ever I go, and I always get compliments on her. The tires are about two years old and are in very good shape and look nearly new. The car also comes with a cover and I also have very nice covers for the t-tops. I also purchased a new center console cushion that matches the interior(code correct), not that its a big deal. All of the parts I have replaced and purchased have been through Eklers Corvette, so I could remain as close as possible to original.
