From previous owner: Pictures 1-5
For your consideration is a very nice matching numbers '71 Corvette Coupe. This
is a very dependable, beautiful car that is a pleasure to drive and is right at home
at the Saturday night cruise-in or the Sunday afternoon car show. Or, you can
jump in and take a weekend trip down a winding country road. We have driven
this car on several weekend trips with no overheating or other issues. It gets
looks where ever we go. I like this car so much I've owned it twice! But, it's time
to find something we can get our grand daughter in!

The body is solid and appears to be no-hit. It looks to have had one repaint in the
correct Mulsanne Blue and there was some touch up work done on the hood a
couple of years ago. Seat covers, door panels and carpet were replaced a couple
of years ago as well. This vette runs good, sounds good and drives right. The
frame is nice and solid with no known rust issues. The car has power steering but
non power brakes but stops good with a firm pedal. The original jack and tools are
still in the car and don't look to have ever been out. I have what I believe to be
the original owners manual and the correct, dated t-top storage bags are with the
car as well.

Issues I'm aware of: The A/C was working but has a slow leak and is not currently
working. A recharge usually lasts for a year, so I have not made the effort to find
or repair the leak. The fan just stopped working but I'm not sure if it's the motor
or the switch. (Can't be anything too serious). One of the headlights is slow to
open but it may just be a vacuum leak. The car could use tires but there is some
tread left on these. Last trip out we took a rock to the windshield and it has
developed into a crack on the passenger side near the windshield pillar (I believe
in driving my cars so I've accepted the possibility of the occasional ding). The
clock just decided to quit within the last few months (of course!).

This car has not been restored, but rather maintained to a very respectable level
to maintain it's looks and mechanical dependability.
