Car history: |
This is a 1977 Corvette that I purchased over a year ago as a project. I just simply do not have the time to complete this project. The body is 95% ready to paint and is in great shape as far as the fiberglass goes. The frame has no rust that I can see. I have stripped the carpet from the cab and removed the right lower dash, console, instrument bezel, door panels, and seats and rails. I have all of those parts plus the Corvette emblems. I was going to replace all of that with new parts but they are still very usable if you decided to clean and refinish them. The car runs and starts and I have driven it a few times around the block. It definately needs to have the carburetor cleaned...it loads up when you give it full throttle. The brakes work but they do leak a little, looks like it's from around the fittings in the calipers. This car will need to be picked up with a trailer, it does run and drive but cannot be driven to your final location. This is for local pick-up or you can arrange for shipping. I can manage my schedule to be around if you would like a transportation company pick it up, however you will need to make the arrangements. This is a great project car that just needs only mostly cosmetic work to be ready to cruise the streets. |
